FAQs:

Q: Will I need a passport for this cruise?

A: Not necessarily. Royal Caribbean strongly recommends that all guests travel with a valid passport. If a guest either misses the ship at its scheduled U.S. departure port and needs to travel outside the U.S. to meet the ship, or unexpectedly needs to depart the ship from a foreign port prior to the end of the cruise, a passport would be required to leave or re-enter the U.S. by air.

Q: What documents are required to cruise?

A: A passport is the best travel document to carry to cruise to the Caribbean, Bermuda, Alaska and other countries. If you do not have a passport, in most cases, a birth certificate and a government-issued State ID are acceptable documents. Guests under the age of 16 will NOT need a government-issued state ID. Learn more about requirements.

Q: What if I'm pregnant?

A: You may cruise as long as you have not entered your 24th week of pregnancy. Royal Caribbean will make every effort to accommodate you, providing you have not entered the 24th week of pregnancy when the cruise ends. Please include your cruise details in an email to the travel advisor at your earliest convenience.

Q: Can I bring alcohol on board from home or from a port of call?

A: Please note that with the exception of Wine and Champagne, all guests are prohibited from bringing alcohol onboard our ships. If you purchase any alcohol at one of our ports-of-call or in our onboard shops, we will safely store your purchase(s), and either on the final night of the cruise or the morning of debarkation, it will be available for pick up in a designated area. On boarding day, guests may bring onboard two (2) 750 ml bottles of personal wine or champagne per stateroom in their carry-on luggage.

Q: What if I have a special diet?

A: If you have any food allergy or a dietary requirement that requires Kosher meals or gluten-free food product, please notify the travel advisor at the time of booking.

Q: Are any shore excursions included?

A: Shore excursions are not included in the base package, however, you may look at some of the featured excursions on the website. This is not an exhaustive list - you can visit Project Expedition for additional options or Royal Caribbean's shore excursions list.

Q: What are the COVID-19 protocols for Royal Caribbean?

A: Royal Caribbean has multiple protocols designed to keep cruisers safe. Notably, effective February 1, 2022, all cruisers are required to have negative COVID-19 antigen tests in order to be permitted to board AND you must be fully vaccinated. Click here to order at home COVID-19 Antigen tests You can learn more about Royal Caribbean's safety protocols.

In addition, should you need to cancel for "any other reason" you may be eligible for credit toward a future cruise - up to 90% of the non-refundable, prepaid cruise vacation cost.
